Getting to work with kids in an environment that allowed them to be challenged and grow. having the privilege of watching them challenge themselves as well as build relationships with each other as they experienced the adventure activities together. I was able to spend a lot of time outside, doing something I love and working with a great team.
What I wish was different
Advice
The position is often expected to simply be physically exhausting, but it can be extremely mentally and emotionally exhausting as well. Be prepared for that, and know that it is one of the most fulfilling jobs I've ever had.

Because it was the first time that they have had the position, staff training was a little bit confusing, and the position took some time to work out.

be flexible, know your options, and set expectations early.
