Update: we had such a great time at our meetup on April 2nd, we’ll be holding one again on April 9th. The same Zoom link will work for all future meetups. See you there!
There’s a lot of change on your campus—and in your life—right now. We want to help our partners connect with each other to talk about it.
In the past few weeks we’ve seen an overwhelming interest in webinars that address how to quickly handle the changes arising in your work, whether by fostering more virtual student and employer engagement or just learning the basics of video conferencing. But during these events we’ve also noticed that you didn’t just want to hear from us: you really wanted to hear from each other.
So, in response, we’re facilitating—but not leading—a weekly meetup of university partners to discuss best practices, tips, and insights from the current crisis.
Starting April 2, these recurring sessions will be hosted by Dorothy Hayden from George Mason University and Amy Smith from New York Institute of Technology. There won’t be any formal webinar presentation; instead it will be a guided conversation between attendees around what they are doing to manage the situation on their campus.
If you’d like to join one or more of these meetups, click this Zoom link (pro tip: save this link, we’ll use it every Thursday) at 11am PST/2pm EST on April 2 or April 9—with more Thursdays to come if the interest is strong.
We look forward to chatting with you!
